Rev. Katelyn Bradwell serves as pastor of Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church with a heart rooted in grace, a voice shaped by justice, and a calling formed in community.  Her ministry is marked by a deep love for scripture, a passion for inclusive worship, and a commitment to walking alongside people in every season of life.

Katelyn’s spiritual style leans toward the pastoral and collaborative — grounded in listening well, lifting others up, building spaces of peace and respite in a troubled world, and making space for the Spirit to move through shared discernment.  At the same time her ministry is prophetic — she believes in speaking truth with love, challenging systems of injustice, and cultivating a church that doesn’t shy away from hard questions but leans into them faithfully.

Her gifts include preaching that is thoughtful, accessible, and theologically rich; teaching that opens up the Bible for both newcomers and long-time seekers; and a steady presence in times of grief, celebration, or change.  She delights in crafting worship that tells the truth, stirs the soul, and points to the expansive love of God.

Katelyn is currently pursuing her Master of Divinity at a progressive seminary, where her studies continue to deepen her love for scripture, church history, and the mission of the United Methodist Church.  She finds joy in music, community meals, and creating space where everyone — without exception — can know they are beloved.
